What did you love doing when you were little?

I remember trying to communicate with fairies and pretending to be a witch. I read every ghost story I could get my hands on – I didn’t care if it meant I couldn’t sleep. TV shows like Charmed, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Sabrina the Teenage Witch really resonated with me. Now that I think about it, there’s always been a common thread: M A G I C

How can you find your life purpose?

From the day we’re born we already know what we must do. We have everything we need inside ourselves already. If it's true that we're our own best guru then why are so many of us (myself included) feeling so far removed from who we came here to be and what we were called to do? The problem is there's (really loud) external conditioning from the world around us. We stop listening to our own inner voice, forget how to trust ourselves and we go off course. This blog is my way of picking up where I left off. I'm getting back in touch with my (wannabe teen witch) roots and remembering what I already knew... Magic exists! It's just a case of recognising it. Modern Magic is anything we do that has meaning beyond how it looks. What makes something magical is the intention behind it. It doesn't have to be casting spells (although I dabble in that too). It can be getting together with friends to create vision boards and proclaiming your desires to the Universe. It can be setting an intention or dedication for your yoga practice or even sharpening your self-trust by turning Google Maps off or having fun in the kitchen without a recipe book. Do you like delicious and nutritious food? Are you a sucker for scary movies and second-hand books? If you're addicted to podcasts and yoga and curious about tarot readings and circling then we just became best friends.  What do you say? Are you in? Let's make magic happen!
